Starting this Spring, we will be working down at The Field in Alness every week on a Wednesday from 10am-3pm. Bringing the community together to grow our food and learn how to cultivate the land we live on in a sustainable and eco friendly way.
As well as learning to grow, we will be doing regular creative sessions every Wednesday. Come and meet us for a coffee, cake and loads of creative activites drawn from our interactions with nature.

Growing Together in Highland is a project that is focused on community cohesion and the natural environment. We are bringing the community together in a gorgeous space run by The Feild in Alness.
We have been working in partnership with The Field, The Place, Inverness Open Arts Studio and The Highland Social Prescribing Network to grow these sessions into something special.
Now, funded by The Pebble Trust, we are able to extend these sessions into a full project of growing and creative activity.
Come and do some digging, some planting, some sowing, some weeding with us. No matter what your capable of doing, we will have a job for you. Even if it is just sitting and chatting while doing some arts and crafts based around the garden and nature.
This is a project that has been designed by the community, for the community.
We are currently based at the Field in Alness on Wednesdays from 11-1pm, come and do some gardening with us or take part in our arts sessions with local artists.
We provide hot drinks and snacks, if the weather is bad then we are in the polytunnel in the warm!
Come and join us for a chat and a cuppa.
