Grounded in Highland

This project brings people together in nature to rediscover their inner creativity. Based down at The Field in Alness we hold regular sessions where we try all different types of arts while being in a beautiful local greenspace. We have a thriving group who meet every week and they decide the activities in a co-participatory model.
This project is funded by The National Lottery and REALITIES and is part of our mission to transform community health and wellbeing.

Come along and join us every Wednesday 11-2pm for creativity, coffee, community and cake!

Insight to Well-being

This is a program designed to open people up to their true potential by offering them a glimpse of insight into how our thoughts shape the world.

We see no human being as broken, nobody needs fixing, and no-one should be left to suffer when that suffering is caused by a simple misunderstanding of how the mind works

Do you Want Insight Into Your Well-being?

We are very proud to be bringing this transformative, well-being course into Highland. Our staff were trained in the Insight programme by the amazing Jacqueline Hollows from Beyond Recovery CIC.

The Insight to Well-Being Program is an evidence-based mental health education and intervention program designed for individual practitioners and organisations to share an understanding of the mind and human experience. The program has been proven to reduce risk factors, uncover resilience, and promote emotional and psychological well-being for adults and youth in systems of care, including behavioural health, criminal justice, substance abuse, foster care, and more. This curriculum is taught through a compilation of sessions that focus on the potential, ability, and resilience inside every human. We will be delivering it alongside arts-based interventions, courses and workshops.

The purpose of the course is to transform the lives of people in the community by pointing them to their innate resilience and wellbeing. This happens through personal reflection and moments of insight into individual thought process.
